Multichem: Liquid Stable Quality Controls:

The high quality of our plasma components together with other proprietary   stabilisation procedures have facilitated the development of a complete product portfolio of high quality, human based, liquid stable, test consolidated quality control materials for the clinical laboratory. All our quality control products are manufactured using a unique human based stable matrix, which eliminates the requirement of high levels of preservatives, which are used in many other commercially available materials. Some of these preservatives are highly toxic and when used in conjunction with bovine based products adversely affect the behavioural characteristics of the matrix and interfere with the accuracy and reproducibility of the test methods. The Multichem matrix however, mimics very closely that of a patient sample and thereby minimises any such matrix effects.
